Brief Reviews of Eclipse

SPOILERS, obviously. Don't click if you don't want to know. Last night some Twilight fans went to a screening of Eclipse. Here is what some of them have said (on twitter, etc.) about Jackson's and Ashley's scenes.

I was able to attend a special screening of "Eclipse" last night and I thought I would share some of the Jasper/Alice details if you're interested. Spoilers ahead.

It didn't feel like Alice got too much dialogue/scenes in this one, but Jasper definitely gets his fair share. The Cullens definitely look to him for guidance throughout the entire ordeal so that was great to see. As we all know, some of Jackson's scenes in the previous movies could be cringe worthy but I didn't get much of that feeling in this one.

The training scene with Jasper and Alice is adorable and I think you will all enjoy it. It isn't verbatim from the book and there isn't a "Gotcha" or "frightening little monster" line, but Alice does end up on his back and we get a cute little kiss that had the audience going "Awww." You could feel the chemistry~

Bella approaches Jasper after the training, wanting to know more about his experience and past. He shows her his scars and then they go into the flashbacks with Maria and his putting together the army for her. It wasn't too long, but it was cool to see. Jasper says something along the lines of thinking it was love with Maria. Back to present time (no flashbacks for this unfortunately), Alice pops up next to Jasper and Bella and then they do the "You've kept me waiting" "Sorry ma'am" bit (no "I felt hope") and have another kiss. Much more open mouth...and kind of awkward since Bella was there, lol, but it was sweet.

During the final battle, there's a newborn after Alice, which Jasper goes after and takes care of. The two definitely get quite a bit of action.

Overall, though I have no real motivation to rush out and see it again just now, I think it was the best movie of the three.
